French media on Twitter are suggesting an approach has been made by CCFC for the services of Salomon Kalou.

Re: Kalou. #Cardiff have made a tentative approach it seems. Unless they fork out crazy wages, Kalou won't leave #Lille. Too risky for him.

There is interest from us but Villa and West Brom are interested.
