Never will he recover from the defeat against GG or Ugly kid as he called him.

disagree I think degale will prove to be world class once he learns stay off ropes and keep the high tempo up instead of bursts of speed and class footwork, the fight with George groves was very very very close but I do think groves just did enough and actually wanted groves to win because I don't like degale attitude but cant argue he is a class operator once focused

Always liked eubanks snr. Quite eccentric and very much a showboat, but hard as nails with a granite chin! His rivalry and fights with Nigel benn were top bill. Deffo one of my all time favourite british boxers. I really do hope his son gets to the top, he's got a hard act to follow though, that's for sure

Was out in the sun getting bitten by mossies all night, boxing is taped from all fights. Is it worth watching any of the fights today? I've seen the Dawson KO this morning, a beaut! Shame we didn't get to see more of a fight to see how tested below will be.

It was crap....
Seemed to be a crowd of a few hundred - £35 a ticket at come conference centre on the Bluewater Shopping complex (aka an unused warehouse) & still couldnt get a decent crowd.
Was hoping DeGale would get stuck on his arse - but against a handpicked 38yo opponent (11yrs DeGales senior) thar was unlikely - seemingly only picked to make him look better.
Hopefully he'll get his fight with Froch then we'll see if he's as good as he likes to think he is.....

It was a mean left hook and no laughing Matter.
Congrats to the ref for doing his job properly and stopping the fight.

It's funny because Dawson is cocky.

Dont think anyone would had taken that punch and beat the count. Reminded me of a tyson shot.
I think Dawsons days are gone, not that you could tell from that punch, but think draining himself for the 168 fight with ward has ended him.
Gamboa was the biggest fight on the card for me before it went ahead. Gamboa is a P4P top 10 fighter for me.

To be honest I don't think his days were ever there. Just another overhyped American. They wanted him to fight Joe,But joe hung up his gloves instead.judging by the way Ward hammered him,I think Joe would've smashed him.Maybe not Knocked him out but a wide points win no less.

Yeah i agree, if he was british the yanks would have said hes a bum with a belt who beat nobody. But since he is american hes obviously hyped to hell.
read in the press that Eubank jnr flattered to deceive in his fight, but just watched it and thought he did fine for someone of his standing. hes still a kid learning the trade.

I think bellew was talking him up just to make sure he was in his good books when it came to who to fight next.
Its a poor division in my eyes.
