Michael Laudrup

Sky reporting that there is a £10.000.000 buyout clause in his contact....

...fair play to our way out west friends they're not as stupid as they look.

Re: Michael Laudrup

They'll never get that should he go or should I say they will accept less. Why would they want a manager who wants to go, IF he wants to go.

What if he gets himself sacked on purpose?

Be interesting to see if they put Laudrup on gardening leave.

Do they have gardens in Swansea?

It seems to be going that way.

Laudrup and his agent are up to no good. Laudrup has just come out and blamed the club for not batting his targets and his agent is blaming all the press for stirring it all and Laudrup is staying.

Laudrup knows the limitations at Swansea but has used the budget situation because he is wanted by clubs promising bigger budgets.

Why would swansea put ML on gardening leave, they want him to stay and they are not going to risk losing £10 million, and all this bull sh*t regarding huw jenkins and laudrup, is just that bull sh*t. ML will be at swansea next season without a doubt.

I dont have any inside info, but ML is not the sort of guy to hang around if he's not happy.

He has a contract so he has to hang around. That is unless he and his agent can kick up a bad atmosphere and force the issue.

I wouldn't belive too much of whats been said in the media, Laudrup will be at swansea next season, he will be leading the invasion into europe 100% confident on that.

You ignore the odd bit of rumour or gossip but this is incessant. Laudrup and his agent are playing the standard lines of staying, which they need to do but then they also in the press blaming the club and the press.

It seems Jenkins needs to splash cash like a top half team to keep Michael happy.

From what i hear swans have about £20-25 million to spend, and this would of been talked about when ML signed his new contract in march, there isnt much happening really to talk about and news papers need some thing to write about so they put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5.

I think you're kidding yourself. Widely reported ML is disappointed you have missed out on players because HJ wouldn't commit enough cash. No smoke without fire. Having said that he will stay but then we will see how he does next season as your run the second half of the season was poor so he ain't no messiah.

He could resign like he did at Mallorca.

Untrue.

Lukaku, doesn't look like Chelsea will loan him out.
Aspas, Liverpool came in for him.
Aubameyang, wants Champions League football.

This is no fault of the board, Huw Jenkins has stated that we have a substantial amount of money to spend.

The situation is fine, it is natural that a manager is going to be disappointed when he misses out on key players, that doesn't mean he's going to leave the club.

Its true you Pembrokeshire runt . It's called canny business sense. Rodgers had a 5m release clause in his contract and Laudrup 10m . We're simply protecting the clubs future.
