Bluebirds Unite have arranged a meeting on ' Tuesday June 11th ' " 7pm " at The Corporation Pub, Cowbridge Road, Canton, Cardiff.

The meeting is being headed by Bluebirds Unite founder member Sian Branson.

Yes I will be there, yes its a great idea and should be given a chance, everyone who feels strongly about Our identity should support it and those who would like us to return to Blue, but have been sitting on the fence, give Bluebirds Unite a chance

There Def wont be any problems like what happened at the Muni club, thats ancient history.

i'll be going with a few of the boys, should be a good turnout

The purpose of this petition is to try and implore the people in charge of Cardiff City Football Club to see that our, Pride & Heritage is something we feel should be acknowledged.

We believe that the 100+years of History at the Club should be respected and maintained.

Whilst we are grateful for the help and success that has been bought to the club, we ask that you reconsider the recent re-brand and allow us to celebrate Premiership success under our TRUE IDENTITY as Cardiff City Bluebirds.

This would include our return to Blue and our rightful Bluebird as our team's mascot.

As if Tan is going to reconsider the rebrand. He doesn't give a crap what we think. When fans sang 'we'll always be blue' in the speech he said nevermind, nevermind. Asking the club to reconsider is not an attainable goal. Tan's beliefs come first and foremost and as hes the owner its his beliefs that have the final say, unfortunately. Like I've already said, if Bluebirds Unite want the identity back then they'll have to force Tan out. The only way we'll return now is Tan out of the club.

What goals were they? The only thing I've protested for was to get shorts changed on that hideous two tone kit. Low and behold, set up or not by the club, the fans were given a vote.

Forcing Tan out and causing mayhem would make him listen because his reputation would be on the line then. It would gain media interest and it would show that people aren't happy and care more about the traditions than him. I wouldn't support that as I would rather Tans investment but I wouldn't hold it against people if they did want Tan out. Thats their choice. Forcing Tan out is more attainable than wishing for him to stay and turn us back to blue.

Baked, I have not fallen into any trap. I'm not pro Tan or anti Tan. I did say 'set up or not' if you look. There's no proof either way. People will believe what they want on that one as individuals.

At about 400 the whole pub I would say, but I havent been in there for 15 yrs.

Tan says ok and returns us to normal..
We get relegated....
The following season, we go back to red,win the league, and survive in the prem over the next few years..
Tan has all the ammo needed then to eradicate the blue for good.

Your cause should be,To have the crest and colours reinstated,No designs to ensure future owners cannot tamper with the clubs identity?
Some form of agreement that allows "The Fans" have a say in future kit designs and changes?


I won't be attending the Meeting, as I will be working in Aberdeen, would probably be late if I tried to get there...

Id doubt that very much. I was going to shitty division 4 grounds before you were even born Zippy.

What will be discussed at this meeting? What are the aims? Or is it just a get together of like minded individuals?
