IAN HOLLOWAY has made a £4million bid for Tom Ince.
Crystal Palace chief Ollie was Blackpool boss when the winger joined the Seasiders from Liverpool’s academy in August 2011.
But the Eagles face a battle for the England Under-21 star as fellow Premier League new-boys Cardiff, along with Swansea, have matched their offer.
Tottenham and Ince’s dad Paul’s old club Liverpool are also interested.
Ince jnr is currently at Euro 2013 in Israel with the Young Lions.
The 21-year-old, who returns from a ban to face Norway today, said: “I am a Blackpool player. I have a year left and just concentrating on the Under-21s.
“I will sit down after the tournament and go from there.”
Ince snr is Blackpool boss but it looks like his son will be in the top flight next season.

Realistically out of the 3 teams I would put us 3rd in the chances to get him.

If malky really wants him we will get him unless a big boy comes in for him

If Tottenham/Liverpool are interested then we have about as much chance as Swansea, pity though he would be a great signing for us

Obviously looking at it as a City fan I'm biased but I see us as a bloody good option for the likes of Ince.
We've one of the best young managers in the game in the UK, a squad without ego, wealthy backers, first class training facilities and set up - and its a nice City to live in. Of the bottom half prem clubs we have a lot to offer. I hope it comes off he's a cracking player.

Definitely the type of player we should be going after, but I think he'd chose playing under Holloway again, before us. If Spurs and LIverpool are truly interested, then even Palace are wasting their time.

he may well stay anothe ryera at Blackpool, run down his contract and then leave with a massive personal pay out!

Didn't he only playa year under Holloway?hardly a deal sealer is it as he's not exactly highly regarded and he has probably peaked as a manager can't see him being anything other than a yoyo manager. Whereas malky is on the up and can better ince as a player and if he has a year or 2 here move on to spurs or Liverpool..even united..

All bids will be rejected, they want £6m. I can see us being the only ones paying that much, with Palace's weak financial backing and Swansea not seeming to pay over the odds for anyone Laudrup wants.

His father will advise him to sign for us, assuming Liverpool or such don't come in for him

If we are serious and Malky thinks he is 'the business' then an extra £1m on top of the Palace bid might just do the trick, as I can't see them being too competitive in the market (and Bruce has even less to spend at Hull)
My guess (status, proximity to Blackpool and links to his old man) would be Liverpool; although I'm not too sure he'd be at the level they need to have for a realistic assault on the Top 4, so maybe better going to a club where he'll get his chance to learn and develop. There would be none better than us IMHO

I think his dad will have some influence of where he ends up and my guess would be a lower Premiership team to use them as a stepping stone. He will get lost if he went from tbe Championship to a top team like so many others before him.

He has a hefty sell on clause with Liverpool so I would guess at least 7/10 million. I think he'll end up back at liverpool.

I like the ambition we're showing. Ince is a very good player with even bigger potential!
I think he is exactly the sort of player we should be looking to sign!

Hope you pull this signing off. Don't want to see carrot cruncher and the nigles signing anyone. Good luck

Tom Ince would be a fantastic signing for us, I really do believe he's going to be something special and I think if we could get him to come to Cardiff for talks then Malky could persuade him that if he signed for us he'd be on the plane to Brazil 2014
