Premiership football will probably, in time make all the difference. :ayatollah:

A very good season in the premier league or move up to Scotland. I don't think he's been getting the recognition he deserves because of the fact he's been playing in the championship. :ayatollah:

Annis I do agree he has improved this past two years but if he has a fault he doesn't leave his line to take the pressure off his central defenders. To be fair to him his reaction saves are up there with the best and I guess he has been slow to leave his line in the past.

Last year he was magnificent for us but when we were under pressure from long balls being pumped into the box we seemed to be at sixes and sevens.

Not long now to the fixtures coming out can't wait to book the long weekends away with my bride :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

World class players smacking the ball at you will test how good you are.

Some of his saves this season Joe Hart wouldn't have made. Hes been overlooked because he doesn't play in the PL or SPL.

Its that simple really and its the same thing Roy does for England. Names and Clubs over form and true ability are the reason the British sides will continue to do crap at International level.

Yes I do agree Marshal has his faults, but lets be honest Scotland are not World Class.

Surely your own form isn't dependant on the strength of your national team.

Croatia are panicing and shooting from long range. Fair play to Scotland all the players are putting a shift in seeing they cannot qualify.

Probably Malky to get the manager's job, Annis! (Strewth, I hope not!)

Seriously, he MUST be pretty close now and a few good games in the Premier League will hopefully seal the deal :ayatollah:

I would def think he must be knocking on the door Chris, a few good saves in the Premier League should do it. :ayatollah:

It's not stupidity on Scotland's part; McGregor has been sensational throughout his Scotland career and he's given the managers no reason to drop him. He doesn't play in the PL or SPL, yet he gets played. I'm sure Marshall will get his chance in the coming year, and rightfully so, but McGregor is number 1 at the moment and doesn't deserve to lose it.

Annis, I only look back to games like Huddersfield home, Leicester away, Watford away (Deeney Header) and Fuller for Charlton and them saves were something else.

He may have been superb for the last two seasons, but we don't see the likes of Allan McGregor week in, week out. For all we know, he too could be playing fantastically.

True, but I reckon if McGregor was THAT good someone would have taken a punt on him down south (where he would have come for the money) ;)

Marshall certainly deserves a chance to stake his claim, eh? :ayatollah:

Mcgeggor has been booked tonight so that means he misses the next game, so Marshal should play

As a few have quite rightly mentioned, McGregor has played well and rightly kept his place in the Scotland team, Marshall should be given the nod in the next match with McGregor banned... Belgium!

Not an easy task, but then again, being the Scotland keeper these days isn't an easy job whoever we are playing :(

Haven't seen much of Conway in all honesty, but he made a good impression in his 15 minutes tonight. Still baffled why any important games are taking place at this time of year though? Surely the players should be taking a bit of a break?

Agreed.
