QUITE IMPRESSED WITH JACKS ACTUALLY...

I had my first ever read of Planet Jerks message board to see what the hell is going on with Laudrup and have to say I was quite impressed by their responses.

They weren't bricking it or scared of him leaving in the main but saying he should feck off if he doesn't want to be there.

Quite right too - he would've known the financial constraints when he joined.

The Jacks are quite cocky having successfully replaced their manager so many times and I'm not going to start predicting their demise now but it could be interesting if they have a new manager combined with their Europa league commitments.

I do think it will be tough for them if Laudrup goes.

Apologies for being constructive, I actually meant to say the Jacks are actually a bunch of swivel eyed peg selling layabouts with no more right to breathe god's good air than a weasel. It won't happen again.

In fairness, they ARE used to it...

I never try to write on jack threads - no real interest..

the thing with them is they are used to the trials of losing managers etc and have come up trumps every time.
they can afford to be diplomatic now as they have faith in top management, board and owner.

we are a little way off in that department -hence the panic here when a big club lets a manager go.

perhaps 2 seasons in the premier will wise some of us up too.

The difference between us and them is that we have to suffer regime after regime.
we've been shit on more times than the lions in trafalgar square
they just plod on and keep steady.

Yes, but now WE have Tan and he is one determined man when it comes to 'success'

As I have said elsewhere, we are lucky to have Tan in so many ways when you compare him to some of our past so-called regimes and people need to appreciate that (although I think most actually do)

30 years of following has made me very sceptical.
The whole R thing almost ruined the promotion for me.
i dont want to open trouble with comments on kit etc.

I think the langston issue will be a major barrier to get fans like me onside.
if that gets sorted - I could see the red as just a colour.
currently -I see it as so much more.

Currently - the positivities of VT are hard for me to see.

I was really disappointed about the macclesfield game this season - a chance to blood and get a few competative games for fringe. what MM did wholsale - to me - split the players into a group an b group.
this was confirmed when the open top bus paraded -
not a good way to be one club, one direction

those down west - see to have a vibe through their club
