I just came across this.

Football Fact: Teams can wear away kits no more than eight times a season.

City's colour kits next season

Arsenal - red home/yellow away - tan wont play in blue in such a big game
Villa - red home/yellow away - they have blue on their sleeves
Chelsea - red home/red away - they play in blue at home
Palace - red home/yellow away - they have blue on their home kit
Everton - red home/yellow away - they play in blue
Fulham - red home/blue away
Hull - red home/blue away
Liverpool - red home/yellow away - again a big game to market us in
Man Utd - red home/yellow away - see above
Man City - red home/red away - they play in blue
Newcastle - red home/yellow away
Norwich - red home/blue away
Southampton - red home/blue away - they have red on their home kit
Stoke - red home/blue away - they have red on their kit
Sunderland - red home/blue away - they have red on their home kit
Swansea - red home/red away - the derbies will be on Sky - great marketing opportunity for Tan
Spurs - red home/red away
WBA - red home/red away
WHU - red home/yellow away

Yellow features 8 times as an alternate kit
Blue features 6 times as an alternate kit
Red features 24 times as our primary kit

Thats 38 games. In all the big games against top teams he'll try and use red or yellow.

Blue will only feature in the games against crap teams IMO

I was trying to work out when short gate was on if the red shirt / blue short combo was reversed for the away kit would it cause problems and your post suggests that it would have ..... Obviously blue shirt / white shorts home kit and red shirts / black shorts would have solved that one ....

Flip side of your coin is... We want to be seen as winning in blue and we have a better chance of this happening against the Crap teams as you label them... Bare in mind though these Crap teams are experienced in this division and we are not...

Interesting these two

Football Fact: A match can be beamed live to the ground of the visiting team.

I reckon VT will be doing this more money coming in again

Football Fact: Visiting clubs are allowed 3,000 tickets or ten per cent of the capacity of any ground whose capacity is under 30,000.
I thought the premier league change the rules so that it was 15% of the capacity had to be given, forget about the under 30k rule and if you have teams with 31k plus the home team still has to only give 3000?

there isn't really any "crap teams" as you call them in the Premier League! :old:
