Don't deny them at all mate. Like I wrote on twitter earlier, I bought the red shirt last season and enjoyed the season like the rest of us. But recent events have been difficult for us all to take, and that's why I now feel stronger and stronger about the blue - I wanted it back last season, but was willing to wear the club shirt as I do every year. Feels like it's gone too far now.
Will continue to go to games and support my team, nothing will stop that.

Rather be red in the Premier League tbh.
Premier League brings many benefits that us in League 2 doesn't. Better community options and getting disabled people involved with the club, futsal for the community and so on. There's loads the club do such as the very good family stand that gets people going and has been recognised for its services.
If we were in League 2, one the stadium would resemble a ghost town and two, the engagement with the community would be ny-on non existent. All these things are taken for granted in my eyes and people need to be careful for what they wish for.
A compromise solution would be for the best. It should appease Tan to some degree and the same as Bluebirds Unite. I dont think there is any utopian solution that will appease both parties totally at the same time.

I mirror this. A club like Cardiff and I'm not saying we have a divine right to play in the Premier League but it would be extremely embarrassing for a club like us to be in League 2 at all. Look at Luton for example, I think they had 30k for a play-off final at Wembley, I know it's not that far but that's incredible and I've spoken to a few on how embarrassed they are to be in the conference when they were playing Championship football just seven years ago.
People can continue to say I'd rather be blue in the Championship(easy to say as we've been there for ten years recently) or league two but the fact of the mater is a lot of the support would go, oh yes take great pride in playing Cheltenham and that. again Plymouth in League 2 were not long ago playing Championship football and they're embarrassed in the predicament their club is in.
Being a Premier League side gives the community a club to be proud of, the parade proves that.

I think I mentioned that no we're not a big club but the size of this city sort of depends on how big we are and for a capital city like ourselves not to have a team competing in at least the Championship, I loved the Championship but I don't want to return their any time soon, I want us to become an established Premier League side whether it's blue or red, that wasn't the point I was making about being famous or that at all, I just feel that it'd be embarrassing to be in the lower leagues because of the size of the city. I feel the re-brand was a bitter pill to swallow for some but we're a much better club now. I'm proud of my team, I'm proud how the club are interacting with the community more, education for all ages and disabilities, It's brilliant.

Little has changed...except be for the number of sudden bandwagon jumpers who somehow feel NOW is a SAFE time to uprise rather than at the time the new colours were instigated
Wouldn't have anything to do with the FACT that the vast majority of people (in reality) actually WANT the Premiership and the SAFE future of our club before all else, so didn't want to upset the apple cart, would it?
I genuinely look forward to your considered and justifiable response![]()

Mainly due to the no desire whatsoever to incorporate blue. I've heard Tan and the club say before that our primary colours are blue AND red. Hence the flickering colour lights on the stadium.
Why, then, was there an all red kit? If it was going to be red, should have stuck with the black shorts - as is now happening.
Also had the perfect opportunity to include both our main colours on the shorts. Didn't happen, not even a blue option.
More lies from the club.

Fella, I appreciate your point but it was never going to be anything else but predominant red; the reasons for which are open to some debate depending on your stance on the issue
I honestly believe that the club (maybe even Tan himself) realised they mucked up (polite version) with the shorts and quickly sort to rectify the situation, which IMHO they did to a large extent
However, an opportunity was definitely missed and I support the blue short/blue trim on the shirt to such an extent that I have written a letter to Vincent Tan directly stating my thoughts on the matter and what I (personally, of course) can be done to help appease an increasing number of disgruntled supporters who, no matter how small in number in comparison to attending figures at games, are vocal enough to cause uncomfortable ripples if not waves

I await a response on that one (not too sure I'll get one, mind)![]()
I didn't 'mention' a return to all-blue because I believe the chance went begging last year when virtually no-one (including me) did anything constructive about the matter when it was first raised
It hasn't got any worse TBH. How could it? This season's kit is just an evolution of the kit we ultimately accepted last season, so that cannot be right
We missed out only SERIOUS chance and now it is time to (reluctantly) accept we either (a) fecked up on the initial colour announcement, or (b) we surreptitiously accepted the red by our very actions of continuing to attend games at the CCS and buying (or grabbing in relation to the red scarves) merchandise of any type that included red
Personally, I bought NOTHING red for the season. In fact, I declined the scarfe (whilst many took more than they should) and I GAVE AWAY the red shirt (bought for me as a well-intended present) to another on this MB as I vowed not to wear red in a personal statement that was easy to make. I DID NOT STOP SUPPORTING THE CLUB and I will continue to do so next season and beyond
