Get Nathan Blake involved in Bluebirds Unite

I was reading a thread on the other board and someone mentioned approaching Blakey to support Bluebirds Unite, considering his comments in the echo it may be something he might be interested in.

I think it's worth a try, someone with Blakey's profile could only help promote Bluebirds Unite more.

I watched Blakeys Bootroom before Bolton game and him & Tucker got a bit heated on a rebrand question so I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to be involved as he is just as strong on it as some of the fans.

I am not getting involved in any of these groups or campaigns but trying to suggest positive things to them now.

The reason I wont actively support BU is that the KCB bunch of idiots have tagged along. If BU came out and distanced themselves from this KCB lot then I would support and I suspect many others were. However, as it currently stands there is no true clarity at what it stands for and its purpose. To disrupt or to bring attention? With KCB idiots tagging along I can only see disruption occurring which is bad and sad. UKIP have a similar problem with EDL and BNP idiots tagging along and ruining their image.

BU should take a political type approach and protest peacefully and have organised events and distance itself from these types of fools if it truly wants to gain a lot of support. The leaders need to speak out and say its going to be their way done professionally and not taken over by some mindless morons who think they are spokespersons for the fans. It only takes one protest to turn nasty and the whole image of the group is ruined and the work done becomes a waste of time as the image in the media is ruined and therefore lacks strength as a group.

Getting Blake involved with the organisers would also give a media based platform where it can be kept professional, BU can distance itself from these mindless idiots on a media level and make it clear what they stand for. Its a brilliant idea tbh and having someone whos a public figure involved will only get more support.

KCB is badly organised . Bluebirds Unite seems to be going about it the right way peacefully

all the good things, the achievments have been covered by the dark (red) clouds... we all know they are there, but without our identity they mean nothing.
