Well, considering there were quite a few "big" clubs after him at the time he signed for us then i would'nt be suprised if it's true, saying that, i think he will stay with us for a few seasons yet.

We should re-negotiate that right now because if he has a decent season in the Premier League then we could get £10m at least for him.

It might explain why he decided to sign for us instead of the other clubs that were interested (easier escape route)? & it might explain why MM didn't play him early in the season :)

If malky saw him as a future star though would he have such a low release clause?

Can't see that personally, 6million seems a bit low for a releas clause

No way can I see him going. He's part of tans vision to make us known in asia. Also, he's bound to want a crack at the premier league.. What player wouldn't? Only way I can see him leaving us, would be if a big premier league club came in for him. Can't see him giving up his opportunity to play in the biggest league in the world! Not yet anyway

Not only that but he has had half a season in the championship and is still unproven at the highest level, if he goes to a bigger club he will more likely be on the bench and I doubt he will want that again like last season.
He knows he's still learning and developing as a player and what better chance to do it playing regularly in the premiership with us
