Tan the killjoy

Mon Jun 03, 2013 10:43 pm

Since this man came to the club we have gained promotion been to the Carling cup final a playoff final and a play off semi final.

We should be buzzing instead everywhere I go people talk about the rebrand.

As far as I am concerned Tan ruined the season for me watching city in red is torcher for me and when he came out with the champs trophy my anger went through the roof but at the same time the fans sang we are cardiff city we,ll always be blue which was brilliant.

He has called us customers and showed disrespect to the clubs identity calling it a failure as a brand .

No fans consultation on anything at all apart from the shit shorts.

A season i should av loved. Tan has spoilt it and still everywhere I go its the rebrand people talk about still.

The tide seems to be changing more people hate the rebrand which is good and not to forget the blackmail scarf night against Brighton which in 34 years of support was my worst game as a city fan .I saw my fellow fans deck the stadium out in red and that sight was awful I cringed the hole game i hated it.

I dont care about the prem I never wanted us to go up the way we did and for me Tan killed the season from the first game.

The only satisfaction is now many fans want the right identity back so my question to you is if Tan said you can have it all back but I will leave as it doesnt fit into my vision what would you all say stay or go.Dont forget he did say if he left he would see us right. For me I would say buy with no hand shake in all my years nobody has spoilt a season of football like he did and will do again next season. :ayatollah:

you obviously missed the point .I would sacrifice all that for the clubs true identity back lets see what happens when we dont win every week in the prem people will turn you watch.

To me to have my club the way it should be is more important than any cup or promotion just such a shame for me i couldn't enjoy it the way i would av liked.

I'm always buzzing until people start moaning about getting their blue back. So it works both ways same as you buzzing until you see red etc.

Tan could be seen as a killjoy

Also alot of people could see bluebirds unite as a killjoy and the moaning blue fans as a killjoy like I do

Depends really don't it

Well yea ok you could look at it from that angle but what you are saying is there is an argument for and against and I agree.

As a result you get a fan base thats not united which again is bad for us the team and the club as a hole but you have to agree that Tan created this situation so weather you agree with me or not on my topic then sorry you have to agree its Tan fault we have a debate a difference of opinion a fans divide call it what you will Tan did it though. This upsets me as much as the rebrand does.

A full return to blue would mean Vincent tan leaving so a lot of fans would be pissed off including me therefore that would not be uniting the fans would it? Only way to unite the fans is to have a red blue compromise imo

Re: Tan the killjoy

I wouldn't swap our success for our traditions back. I'm sorry but the whole of South Wales(bar Swansea supported areas) can feel the positive vibe of Premiership football when we confirmed it. It was incredible, we all were so happy. This club has a bright future

But there in its self is another dilemma....

Fans who support blue and point blankly refuse red abuse the ones who accept it...
Whilst it had been alleged that a few pro reds may have threatened or abused pro blues....

Either way, Tan wasn't responsible for the fans behaviour towards each other...

For me that's a bigger issue than a kit colour...

Are you serious? The only reason fans are falling out is because of Tan and his stupid rebrand! If there was no rebrand, we would all be getting along and celebrating together. Tan's rebrand has ruined what should be my greatest ever moment as a City fan. Instead of looking forward to next seasons fixtures in the Premiership and what players we might be signing, my main wish is for us to return back to our proper colours and badge. Isn't it sad Tan has made myself and many others feel like this. :(

There's always been issues within the ranks...

And yes I am deadly serious ....

Our responses to one another says more about us and our society than Tan and his decisions...

Re: Tan the killjoy

Oh right.... I suppose I have to change my opinion now then...

Tan caused this Tan caused that...... Had nothing to do with our natural nature towards one another...

If it hadnt been a rebrand we would've been at each other for some other reason.. That is my point mate...

And I don't have to be abusive in making it either .

I have said in the past I don't resent Tan for what he is doing or trying to do.
I resent the way he has gone about doing it...

Another argument caused by Tan and his stupid rebrand. It's all Tan's fault. :(

Without Vincent tans money we wouldn't be promoted to the premiership where we all want to be and been striving for for years! f**k me , if your so obsessed with traditions and the colour blue and hate Vincent tan so much go support Pompey for f**k sake

let me tell you now pal right i support cardiff city dont tell me to go support someone else .Its evident you support Tan WELL i dont .I dont give a shit about the prem i will support us in any division the same and if prem football has brought us a sacrifice as big as the loss of are identity well to me its to much i dont want that you do so we have to agree to disagree.

:ayatollah:

The word is "TORTURE" mate or is this some kind of text talk? :?

Either way, it doesn't make sense. Spoil your season? I think you'll find THAT is all down to you and nothing anyone else (Tan or otherwise) has done TBH ;) :ayatollah:

you must be thick read the post that is how i feel .its down to me you say well i never changed the kit Tan did and thats by problem I never had a problem for 34 years i even put up with ridsdale ffs but now its all done to me and nobody else f**k off you idiot.

So your abusing a fan for having a difference if opinion... Guess you blame Tan for that eh!!!

As brickyblue says, who the hell do you think you are telling us to support a different team? If you have been striving for Premiership football and you care about watching a successful team in red so much, then why don't YOU bugger off and support Man Utd?

I agree with the OP. I didn't enjoy last season due to the rebrand and don't think i'll enjoy this season either.

If you're going to dish it out and try telling fans like me to support a different club, then you've got to take it. You say if blue matters to me so much, support Pompey. I say if supporting a successful team in red matters so much, support Man Utd. :thumbright:
