Sorry if this has been posted.

Just saw on bbc he's been found guilty of assault.

Don't like saying guys are drug takers etc as its all alleged and easily untrue, but since we all know we need a forward and he's someone we all link to the club thought I'd see what people have read themselves.

The guy who took the punch said he thought he heard him taking drugs in the toilet. So done a charlie austin drugs google search. First forum was a burnley forum and they were on about him and drugs when he joined.

Had a bit of a going on with a team mates mrs and alleged drug use.

When need a big, lanky tank like Gomis not a small striker. We have Fraizer. Gestede is maybe good enough anyway.

his name says it all,

assault usually goes hand in hand with drug use, 90 per cent of guys partial to an assault are partial to a line!

If the drugs is true, and talk of rehab and drug taking at burnley and swindon then I wouldn't have him sweeping the stands.

Wouldn't have him if he's another JT either and shagging other players partners

I would prefer to aim for a striker abroad than here.

A cheap accusation from the "victim" imo.

Charlie Austin is 6 foot 2" he is hardly a "small striker" and I laugh in your face at Gestede being good enough for the Premiership :laughing5:

That's what I thought, it's easy to say someone's on drugs without any evidence and it sticks. Fowler had it for years but there's never been any evidence, a picture or even a recording of him.

I think the fact he's shagging his keepers wife is a big prob, it's not exactly like you want a John terry in your squad.

The drug rumours seemed to have followed him through his young career but there's still no proof.

Agreed. What we need is a proper technician and someone who is not just more media generated hype. We need a Benteke or Michu.

Haha yeah because they grow on trees! It's not as easy as saying we need a michu and a getting one.

Funny that because it was easy enough for Swansea City.

If it was that easy dont you think every club would do it every summer and jan transfer window?! Most teams are dying for goal scoring midfielder or forward, but its not as easy as saying to your chief scout "go find me another michu or benteke, heres a 4mill"
