GOMIS ENJOYING LIFE AT LYON

France international striker Bafetimbi Gomis has again insisted he is no hurry to leave Lyon.

Gomis has been constantly linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 side who have been looking to streamline their finances in the past 12 months.

But Gomis - who scored 20 goals last season - insists that he is happy at Lyon, despite links to a number of clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool and, most recently, newly promoted Cardiff City.

"After sometimes being substitute in Lyon, it has hardened me, and I am happy," he told Telefoot.

"If one day it is time for me to go to a big club in Europe, then I will already have shown how strong I am."

It's Lyon that need to cut their spending and are looking to move players on. Anyone in contract is not just going to make it easy for them to get them out of a contract.

Clever players, in this situation, can get a move, wage increase, signing on feed AND get their contract paid up by their old club.

All that said, he ain't coming here.

I'll sign him on FIFA 14 anyway so no big deal.
