it follows the book quite closely, though not as much as the first season.

personally im really enjoying the Dany storyline, which i wasnt in the second series.

Yep. Wont say anything else, dont want to ruin it. Both the books and TV show are great and because of the slight changes means its still worth doing both. The books are better though.

The difference between a book to film and a book to tv adaptation is that they can cram more into the tv shows, you get 10 hours worth and with so many characters in GoT they do a decent job in covering them in good detail.

Been waiting for this episode for ages. I reckon it is going to rival the Battle of Blackwater Bay episode.

Im looking forward to watching Game of thrones from the very beggining, heard alot of good stuff

I bought 2 more from Asda myself yesterday to take abroad

Just watched the latest episode, well I did not see that coming!

Makes you think though, if that's the penultimate episode, Maybe the pretend Boy King in the season finale?

I don't know because the penultimate episode of the last series was the really big exciting ending..and the final episode was a bit of an anti climax

Just watched it now! Still in shock.... Brutal!

Episode 9 of every season seems to be the big one and then 10 is the calm down episode tying things up and making you crave next season like a jack craves heroin.

They will probably just set it all up and leave it at the banquet... Panning out at Joffery at the head table...ohhhhhhhh

Actually, its over 2 seasons if I remember, I reckon they'll end it with a big character dying. Not saying who as I dont want to ruin it for someone else but I think we both know who it is likely to be.

Loved how they portrayed it. Pretty graphic to be fair. I'm a big fan of Jon Snow and the Unsullied so as long as those lot are both in it, I'm happy. Rob Snow just followed his penis and look where it got him!

The frustrating thing is that it's a year to wait for each series. Tempted to get the books and steam through them

That episode really was great but awful.
Rob Stark was one of the better characters!
