Just a thought about Sam

Sat Jun 01, 2013 10:19 am

I will say I'm not his biggest fan but was thinking about the langston debt if he was offered shares in the club instead of money , how much percentage of the club would he get?
Reason is if he had a fair amount of percentage then suddenly decided to purchase more shares , could he possibly get a controlling percentage as Tan is at 39% at the moment , just thinking that potentially Sam could then return to blue, all highly doubtful I know but just a thought

If Sam went for the shares option I would imagine Tan would make sure he himself got 51%.

Thats probably true he's not stupid even though he does look it, was just thinking Sam could have the majority shares that way and return us to blue, like I said in my op its highly unlikely

Correct. Part of Tan's plan is to obtain a major stake in the club and that will follow once he is happy the timing is right for him :ayatollah:

Personally, I hope Sam gets what he is owed and walks away gracefully; although I can't see him doing that :( :ayatollah:

If he gets his way sam will return to the club in some role, this is a fact which could wipe out the debt owed in some shape so to speak, the stubbling block is will tan agree with it or pay him up in full and we carry on. :malky:

Tan wants Sam to take the share option and is trying to entice him to some sort of position within the club that has no real power.

If I am right here I believe Tan is taking a gamble on floating the club onto a 3rd world stock market. If this float fails then Tan will take Sam with him although it would not be such a great lose to Tan. From what I have been told this is more likely to be a disaster. Time will tell.

How can he float us on the stock market when he does not own even half the club yet, eitherway ian sam will be on board or tan will have to pay him to get rid of him before this stock market adventure surely for him to get the % needed, there has to be some kind of rule??

He is also the same Sam who stepped in when we were also on the brink.......

It's so easy to point out the negatives though isn't it...

If Sam buys shares in the club I'd be pretty curious. Would you trust a man who tried to deliver a dream and nearly take us into admin? I don't know if that would be the right decision.

We was due in to admin at any time when he took over hence the 3million odd quid it cost him to bail us out so whats the diffrence its like saying we wouldnt be here today where we are without any of them tbh past or present :ayatollah:
