Lets just get on with it!

Fri May 31, 2013 5:00 pm

we knew this seasons home kit was going to be red and the shorts are the same as last season so it better than the 2 tone red... surely know one believed tan would offer us a blue kit or blue shorts so why keep going on about it.. i would love to go back to blue but it really isnt going to happen and some people do need to realise this.

we all want to be blue and no one wants to keep the red kit but until we have a new owner one day hopefully we will revert back to our beloved blue but as fans we need to enjoy what will be the most historic season ever for us city fans even if we are still playing in red... :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The OP is absolutely correct. Blue isn't an option because it was sold for £100m end of.

Individual fans should still wear blue if that's there preference and I see nothing wrong with signing a petition or getting fans with the clubs hear to lobby for change back one day.

But for now we are stuck with red and our more realistic priority should be getting a decent blue away kit.

Agree mate il always wear blue and never support the red but atm we cant do anything about it... I dont even like the new kit but hopefully wel wear more of the blue as an away kit and not 3rd option.

It's this kind of attitude that makes our club an easy target for Tan.

No backbone and desperate for success. "You get the club you deserve" has never been more apt. :(

Its no kind of attitude.. Dont know what your chatting about but exactly what can you do??
Like i said we should always wear blue at home games to show that we will always want to be blue!
But we knew the kit was going to be red so for now youve got to get on with it.

Blue will return one day, when new owners take over and respect our tradition, history and respect our fan base :old:

Agree with the OP :ayatollah:

Unfortunately, some have dug themselves into such a hole with the misunderstanding of what has been achieved in the last year or so that they cannot back down and accept the red even reluctantly (like the majority of us) for now :(

Still I fail to hear any reasoned argument as to why Tan cannot have red if that is what he feels would benefit the club and if the only response is 'tradition' then I'm afraid that went out of this country when Maggie Thatcher and then Phoney Blair's New Conservative Labour fragmented our society forever :(

Blue MAY come back one day after Tan has gone but (in all seriousness) I hope he hangs around awhile to finish the superb job he has started (IMHO, of course) ;) :ayatollah:
