Why will he be happy when the scarfs were red and white? If anything he wanted white on the kit. There's no red and black scarves you can buy anywhere.

Wanting white because we used to have white is pointless. May aswell go all out different. When hes gone it can go back to blue and white. No point in a mongrel kit of old colours.

I voted black but do not assume that I wear the red as I do not - Blue for me always. Rather than be a Manure look a like the black in my opinion was the best option compared to that ghastly red two tone effect

I didn't take part in the ballot but I have enough respect for a democratic process to say that Red / Black it is and at least that decision has been made by the fans. The fact that just a few days ago we had an ALL red playing strip we should ALL look on this as a victory for fans power and be happy with the outcome for that reason.

I have no doubt that if Blue had been an option then that would have won, but it wasn't and that's an end to it. I hope now that someone at the club remembers to change the white trim on the shirt and socks to black, last season the socks had black trim on them. I only say this because I believe the white trim was on the original shorts but will now look out of place. I just want that because like others I want the kit to look the very best it can.

We have a victory for fan power here so maybe now is the time to insist we get a commitment from the club that our team wear the Blue alternative kit in as many matches as possible next season. That could be as many as 16 of the away matches next season.
