How is it

Nothing wrong with Puma. What I don't understand is why the club doesn't have a unique design rather than just another 'Powercat' stock template that other teams also have. We are PL now with the eyes of the footballing world upon us. The kit and badge and simply are just not good enough. We made so many great strides as a club but this episode is simply unbelievable.

We'll be Nike next year anyway, especially if Swansea are still with Adidas I reckon

yea you right ,thats why it would be good for one of the makers i named who dont usually do football shirts to do something different for a design, though i do remember somewhere locoste on a football shirt had a big one across the front cant remember where i seen it though ,puma are ok but they dont do enough for me to buy a shirt ,if you had a plain red or blue shirt with adidas on it it would out sell the puma any day thats what im getting at.

I like Puma but if you don't like them then you'll be pleased to hear this is the last year of our contract with them.

There is definitely a badge 'value' on kit. I've never worn football tops but I've always liked Adidas, probably because of its heritage. I just can't see why the club have been so poor in their choice of design (and colour, obviously). Its not difficult. If the decision makers have no sense of style, they should let someone else better placed make the choice. Not to involve the fans in the decision (and I understand that reasons why that was never going to happen) was a major mistake by the club. The 'all inclusive ethos' and 'two stripe' statements are empty and the latter just simply stupid.

Strange but true, but Puma & Adidas were founded by two German brothers who fell out over the company they had before that.

Puma are normally very good. Great designs and good quality. A lot of the Nike designers have moved over to Puma in the last few years.
I do see people's point, though. Puma contract ends after this season so I'd expect us to get a deal with Nike, Adidas or Umbro then - especially if we're still in the Premier League.
