Bristol City Statement

Fri May 31, 2013 10:15 am

City respond to Cardiff investigation.
We note with concern reports of misbehaviour by Bristol City supporters at our game at Cardiff City on Saturday, February 16th.

Although the vast majority of away supporters behaved impeccably and were a credit to the club, there is no doubt that a minority attended this fixture with the intention of seeking a confrontation with the Police and with Cardiff City supporters.

We have worked very hard in recent years to attract younger supporters and families to Ashton Gate. Establishing ourselves at the heart of our community is one of the key pillars of the club’s future development. We were recently awarded the Football League’s Family Excellence award for the fourth consecutive year.

Bristol City Football Club represents a wide community, and we recognise that different people will choose to express their support for their team in different ways. We welcome this diversity in support, but incidents such as those which allegedly took place in Cardiff pose a serious threat to our desire to make Bristol City Football Club a place where people can watch a game of football safely and securely.

Anyone who is found guilty of a criminal offence arising from these incidents will not be welcome at Bristol City Football Club in the future, and we will fully support any banning orders which the courts may impose.

Fair play. The queue of tractors on the way to the court is astonishing.

If they didnt say alledged and the accused were found not guilty then Bristol City could find themselves in trouble themselves as the fans could sue.

You really are backwards, aren't you? A Wannabee Wurzle. As far as wanting to wind you up, your mistaking anybody giving a small shit about anything you say on here. That's probably a general theme in your life though, isn't it? You come on here just to lick our arses to try and get some sort of weird respect. The truth is that you are an embarrassment with your pathetic kiss-arse brown-nose thicko 'back in the day' comments. That's the plain truth sunshine. You are what pathetic is.

 "Ignoranus". Absolutely outstanding. Here's some free advice. If you've got a small brain, don't try to use big words, as you make yourself look an even bigger tw*t than you already are. Think about it before you come on here with your pathetic and embarrassing Wannabe Wurzle brown-nosing and arse-licking again. And its always a good idea to at least finish a sentence once you start it, Sunshine. "Ignoranus". Classic. Prize Tool
