Nobody spends £70m+ for a laugh.

Silly article based on emotive feelings based on incorrect assumptions.

Rubbish article that fails to recognise that since Vincent Tan has come we are worth millions of pounds more and he has also taken us forwards leaps and bounds. If it wasnt for the rebrand people would be saying we have the best chairman in Britain.

The part about him buying it for a laugh is tongue in cheek mate

Every person who has money like he does always wants to put money into something like a Football club. Everyone who has money like he does wants a bit of that.

Putting money like he does into the club is not doing 'for a laugh'. It is a serious thing when someone wants to put that amount of money into our club.

I do see where your coming from in most of that article tbf.

Since he came in we have done everything right and moved in the right direction. A lot of Pro blues will agree that the things like the new training ground etc is fantastic and it is a brilliant idea but has been badly forgotten for the fact of the rebrand.

The rebrand has been the massive downfall for this club but everything has been fantastic. To say he did it for a laugh is quite a cheap bitter statement.

True, his money helped us out of administration - there's no denying that.

He's still single-handedly tarnished our clubs image and history though. I do realist that isn't an opinion everyone holds, though.

Yes you have to wonder. He came here and we were close to going bust, we are now in the Premier League and worth millions more than when he came here... Sometimes I do wonder what the hell is he doing.

Something to do with the £100 million getting to the premier.

We agree t disagree then

Fair comment we were in the mire but he has only saddled us with even more debt its all a fantasy & built on sand, the bloke is a dictator with no morals for any business to succeed you don't alienate half the supporters/ customers on a whim of a selfish egotistical man who thinks he is still operating a business in Malaysia/Far East where their is a distinct lack of democracy.

Ridsdale left us with owners who were willing to pump money into the club.

They also rebranded us.

Not sure if shit creek or not to be honest.
