My email to the club re kit / shorts

Thu May 30, 2013 8:26 pm

As a supporter of Cardiff City Football Club for 40 years I have to say that the choice of a red kit for another season is totally 100% against what the vast majority of fans want. We are Cardiff City and WE WILL ALWAYS BE BLUE. We are grateful to Vincent Tan of course but he has to realise that we will not be brainwashed into wearing any red merchandise ever.

It's not a minority, it's a vast majority that will never change and this feeling is growing..............I and all of my fellow supporters young and old will be wearing more blue than ever next season.

Cardiff City...................the BLUEBIRDS.

The new choice of shorts should have included Blue.................the club really did miss a big opportunity there.

I find it strange that you ask the supporters to choose the colour of the shorts but then restrict the options (a little like Henry Ford when he was pushing the model T). Or was this done in order to save further embarrassment to the ill advised group that came up with the original choice, or even closer to the truth to save face from reverting to what would be the overwhelming fans choice of blue. Anyway, onward and upward, maybe we can become Premier league off the field in a few seasons
