Instead of submitting a vote, this is what I replied with. And I'd advise others to do the same

If every fan did this, we'd be in blue so respect due.

This was my reply, even though i voted for black.
Dear Sirs,
I have voted for a colour which has no meaning to me as a Cardiff City Fan, I feel that if the club truly wanted the opinion of the fans, then there must have been a blue or other option available.
More and more I am feeling distanced form the club I have enjoyed supporting for over 20 years. It saddens me to realise that in what should be the happiest post/pre season I have experienced I am contemplating the option of returning my season ticket due to the shambles the club has become off the field!
We are nothing more than mere customers to the club at this stage, something which a football club should never allow.
I know that this email will probably just be disregarded without even so much as a reply but felt necessary to vent my frustrations!
Regards

I've sent
Unable to vote as my option isn't there, Instead I'd like my vote to go to bringing the BLUE kit back.

My email to club - have not voted.
'ambassador@cardiffcityfc.co.uk'
see below;
Where is a blue option?
What about the shirt and badge?
Where was our consultation?
This looks silly – the shirt and badge are awful.
Come on club – you are splitting the fans in two.
These new lot who want seats for premier games wont be with us through thick and thin.
Work with the fans –they are the blood of the club.

Make this a sticky please mods? My email:
Dear Sir,
Thankyou for listening to the fans and offering an alternative colour to the shorts for next seasons strip. Unfortunately, after to my disappointment, seeing there are only 4 options, I feel I am unable to cast my vote. None of the choices mean anything to me as a Cardiff fan, I have been a Cardiff fan for 25 seasons and the colour giving me a passionate, emotional connection to my club will always be blue.
The colour blue is very important to the majority of our fanbase, as you can hear loud and clear at games when we chant various "blue" chants such as "Blue army!" and "We're Cardiff City, we'll always be blue!". I hope you can respect my feelings and emotions. I simply will not be forced or bullied into voting for an alternative colour to blue and therefore, I feel unable to cast my vote.
Kind regards.

I wrote a similar email to some of the ones people have posted on here. I wonder if they will actually be read.

Questionable.

Sent this earlier, obviously didnt vote:
Dear CCFC (c/o Mr Tan)
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to influence the colour of 30% of OUR kit for the coming season.
However, it is with the deepest sense of loyalty to OUR club that I must refuse to take part in this vote. I feel that by voting for a shirt/short combination that I RESENT the least is not a positive contribution to make and would insinuate that I approve of the move away from our traditions.
Had I been consulted and asked for my opinion on the original kit change from blue to red in the previous season then I certainly WOULD have taken the opportunity to cast my vote but unfortunately, for me and thousands of loyal BLUEBIRDS like me that have followed the club from the basement of the football league to our present position over many years, I was not.
The only vote I would be interested in participating in would be on whether we should adopt a red or our traditional blue kit in the coming season, not forgetting a return to our traditional crest and Bluebird. A vote that would result in a resounding BLUE on both counts!
I do hope for all concerned that at some point in the very near future the views and influence of the life blood of this club, THE FANS, will be sought on this matter. Until that day comes there will be a strong, and ever growing opposition to the decisions that are being made, decisions that are tainting what could, and should, be the greatest period in OUR clubs history.....which I'm sure we can all agree is a travesty!
Yours Sincerely etc etc

If enough as been sent in, they'd have to take note?
Why wasn't an email like this done last season though a vote on blue or red to ST holders, instead of a poll made by newspapers were any tom dick or harry could have voted but don't attend games, apology's if there was, but i can't remember seeing one

The OP was the way to do it, no waffle just the word Blue.
Fri May 31, 2013 1:41 pm
Yes, it's my real name
Fri May 31, 2013 2:06 pm
Its all well and good voting blue but we know that wont happen.
If everyone did the same and no one voted they would just use the two tone red which is what all the outrage was about in the first place.
Fri May 31, 2013 2:09 pm
its funny hopw you think any of them will be read :p
they will look for which one is voted and add them up, any without votes they will simply ignore.
we have such a spoilt set of fans

How many e-mails do you
HONESTLY believe will be sent in? It's actually the silent MAJORITY that will speak the loudest in VT's eyes and that is my whole point; we might not WANT the red but it is here to stay, so time to move on and worry about the important things ahead

They probably wont read any and just look at the poll results which will most likely be separate.
