How will he do as a manager ?

Ex-Bluebird Hasselbaink Gets Management Role

Former Cardiff City striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been handed his first full management role back in his native Holland and will now begin a 1 year spell in charge of Royal Antwerp.

Hasselbaink scored 7 goals in 36 appearances during the 2007/08 season where we reached the FA Cup final. His pace and fitnerss had deteriorated but he certainly contributed and proved a decent signing despite his burdensome wages. His best moment was surely a sublime curled effort at home against Wolves.

JFH was previously a coach at Nottingham Forest and joins the likes of Neal Ardley (AFC Wimbledon) and Gareth Ainsworth (Wycombe Wanderers) as relatively recently retired Cardiff City players now turning their hand to league management.
