In fairness this is bollox

Thu May 30, 2013 12:27 am

One can keep reading the dross here as if City fans are leaving in their droves....this is absolute bollox.

The majority of fans are more than happy with the way things are going. We have finally "arrived" just like we have demanded for years.

SH,Ridsdale etc have fecked off... and good riddance. Posters have spent the last couple of seasons calling these guys everything from their hole to their pole!

A deifferent shade of shorts to the shirt and we have idiots claiming they wont follow the City again..... without selling their ST of course.

I've never been so embarassed...... not that anyone gives a toss about MB's.

The sooner we realise MB's represent no one but so called celebrity fans and their hangers on the better.

sorry but how do you know people aren't leaving in droves ? I have no doubt you will quote the attendance figures to back up your argument but there have been thousands of new fans to take their place so you don't know its fact either way

Take a look at the numbers who handed their ST's back when we made the change from blue to red.

Some of which stated they are against "modern football" and have ever since droned on about the club on mb's. If I was walking away from CCFC I'd do just that.

I doubt those who sell their ST's over a shade of red will reach double figures. Just a few morons who like to whinge and make out on mb's they have something important to say.

Your right mate,as I've said all along all this message board stuff is a storm in a teacup.I don't think its occured to most on here but the only chance of getting blue back is if Tans plan is a complete failure and city return to the championship after one season.

Or if everyone avoids the colours that Cardiff City are NOT, (red on this occasion) and wear blue to every game, then the red is going to look awful lonely IMO.

It's so one sided here.

Given ST sales, shirt sales after colour change etc. I suggest a few moaning on mb's makes no difference at all.

Totally agree, seems that some of our supporters just love to moan, like you I can't wait until August comes and we play our first game in the Premier league, their claims that we are losing support by the day is rubbish, a majority of our support don't even bother with message boards, so I think it's time to leave the M/b for the summer,

Yes we do ignore that and as the only thing which can prove or disapprove your theory is the database going back over a certain period in time. New customer figures can easily cloud the failings of any business if old customers choose not to purchase anymore. In the political field its called 'spin'

Not allowed an opinion on something, or even, want our club playing in it's rightful colours, because we have "arrived"...

Now, you are offering a theo-------- shite as you are making things up to back up your own opinion. Handed back ST's, merchandise sales, attendance figures and take up on ST's. Businesses are run on figures not some airy fairy massaging of the facts.

My point is its too late for all that and it would have happened last year if it was going to.5 years in the prem and all this protesting will be a distant memory, besides theres nothing like the numbers needed to make Tan listen or putting it another way if the issue was forced and Tan had to make a judgement the overwhelming support for Tan would make their feelings known as they did this time last year when Tan was first challenged.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion.....I do question some people's motives though.

Rightful colours? If you have more than a hundred million you have every right to return us to blue.

There is no corinthian spirit at the club, we aren't a community....we are a business.

Have we arrived? Most definitely....I'm sick of this nostalgic view of the City...... we were shite for years, we played in a shit hole and were plagued by hooligans. I remember the sight of an under 10 at the city was as rare as you paying for a round of drinks.

I'm delighted we are in the premier league........ 47 years of following the City and I finally get to the City at the highest level.

Whatabout none season ticket holders then..? Sorry but seasopn tickets are not for everyone and to just not include them in your theory makes your comment even more pathetic

So we ignore ST sales, merchandise sales and attendance figures? Yeah right, let's listen to "slightly miffed man" instead.

Perhaps you can enlighten us with your insight.

Like your political chums you make things up as you go along ......... without offering any figures.

Yes we do ignore that and as the only thing which can prove or disapprove your theory is the database going back over a certain period in time. New customer figures can easily cloud the failings of any business if old customers choose not to purchase anymore. In the political field its called 'spin'

Jeezuz christ how stupid can you be?

It's not a theory.....everything points to people not walking away! How many handed their ST's back on the re-brand?

Now, you are offering a theo-------- shite as you are making things up to back up your own opinion. Handed back ST's, merchandise sales, attendance figures and take up on ST's. Businesses are run on figures not some airy fairy massaging of the facts.

As for spin, your lot haven't even the brains to use that...... you're a one policy party "say no to Europe." About as imaginative as your opinion on the club.
So you get abusive to help strengthen your point hey!!!

In my opinion Season Tickets are being taking up by new fans, new fans purchasing merchandise and are helping to improve attendance figures. Thats totally understandable but for you to use these figures to say that people haven't walked away is completely false!!!!

Sorry am I missing something here..? whos 'your lot..?', what party..? and so on..? strange one here lads :?
Aren't you the UKIP guy or have I mixed you up with someone else?
Stuck in the past aren't you as I resigned from UKIP over 3 years ago!!!! So the person talking bollox here is you
So your claim to not knowing what I was talking about in regards "to your lot, party and so on" was well out.

You knew damn well what I was talking about yet tried skirting around it.

All you had to say was "I've seen the error of my ways and I'm now a fully committed leftist." :)

Spin certainly is your thing.

Now THAT'S bollocks.

You may well get some stick for airing this view on this board but well done anyway and as a city supporter since the early seventies I share your view. Its time to look forward not backwards to a time when the supporters were part of the problem and not the answer.

Exactly it fucks me off why people think a few people on message boards represent the whole of the fans when they don't.

Yeah? Then home come the majority of the crowd were chanting at Tan in the Bolton game that "We will always be blue" ?
