The 2 Puma King stripes

Wed May 29, 2013 7:15 pm

This is to signify the 2 fingers the Club are sticking up in the air to the fans who've been patient with regards the red.
It's so embarrassingly bad it looks deliberate.

Can't believe the Club has let such a good opportunity go to waste to get fans back on side supporting together as one.

Couldn't agree more. The unity stripes or whatever they are calling them is what upsets me most. Is this their idea of a compromise or an attempt to appease the fans? Calling the Two stripes that are on every 2013 Puma kit a nod to the supporters' loyalty?

Why does VT have to get fans back on board? The terms of the rebrand were £100m investment in return for a change of home kit. Therefore VT can have tri-tone red kits if he wants to providing he invests in the club.

So far he has kept his word and got us promoted to the Premiership with a promise of a £25m transfer kitty this summer.

We can't change the terms half way through just because we don't like something.

No he hasn't kept his word. Far from it.
Vincent has lost a perfect PR opportunity to appease most disgruntled City fans by changing the badge back and giving us a decent kit for our premiership season. I expected it of course to be red, but that off the hanger shirt and shorts that don't even match looks awful.
I would have thought he would have craved the adulation of fans of what is now a Global football team. All it shows is that CCFC is nothing more than a media outlet for himself in China and the Far East especially.
