Any mechanics/good car knowledge on here? Help needed

Wed May 29, 2013 6:16 pm

I have a Ford Mondeo 2.0l engine 51 plate. At low revs it judders now and again as if its struggling for power. Seems as though its not running as smoothly as it should be. Its only done 4000 miles since its service and was fine before that. Anyone in the know? :ayatollah:

Sounds like a clutch problem.

I know f**k all about cars but would it be the clutch after ive selected the gear and im just accelerating and not on the clutch? Thats what happens.

if your car is juddering at low speeds the clutch may be sticking causing chattering which in a low gear makes a judder.it can be caused by oil contamination.a warped or dirty plate. Or a faulty cable.

Maybe a timing issue, but if its only since a service it maybe worth checking plugs? Especially if theyv had them out or replaced them, if its running rough could be something as simple as a lead slightly off :old:
