Premiership all day for me, we are cardiff city fc, it's only a colour

I didn't mind the championship. Good league with plenty of twists and turns and excitement. I wanted the premier league as a way of sorting out our worrying debt more than anything. I'd be more than happy still being in the championship playing in blue...aslong as our debt was being reduced and properly managed.

Silly question in a way, as we have no choice in the matter.
You might as well ask who wants a free pint on the way into the ground.

I will add though. I'm very excited about us playing in the premier league for at least a season Lol its quite overwhelming to finally see premier league football come to Cardiff and the valleys

All the past 10 years or so since the Hammam era and Risdale, the Club has risen from nowhere like a true rate of knots, that its been virtually unreal!! But the Club did it, how? I dont know -but they got to the top to the Prem. During that time it felt like we were always playing catch up while Clubs in the top flight were forging ahead which often felt like they were leaving us behind. Now for the first time since the early times, it can truly leave them Clubs behind us, and we can move forward. I for one would like to see them stay in the Prem full time because my fear is that one we let grip of this status, it will be very difficult to come back from, slipping into the Championship. Wolves, and Bristol City are 2 Clubs which will find it very difficult even to get back their Championship status. So for the stability of the club to gain a footing in amongst the top 10, I hope they make a good fist of it because it is going to come and come at them quickly. I think everyone is ready for what the Premiership has in store for all.

Championship. The premier League isn't the be all and end all. Plus, from what I've been told, it's a lot less enjoyable compared to the lower divisions

Don't care what division we're in, just want to support my local team :ayatollah:

I have watched Cardiff City for nearly 30 years and I am so much looking forward to the new season in the PL.

The kit colour doesnt bother me really probably because when I started going down I was heavily into the casual scene ( and still am) and all my friends were too.

Believe it or not if you wore a football top at the time you were classed as a nerd if im honest.

No such league as the EPL.
It's the Barclays Permier League.
Silly question really as we will be in red in the Premier League, whether you like it or not.

How do we know you are not the joke, if read the threads on here we use to have thousands and thousands go to home and away games in the 70s 80s and 90s, it's easy to pick out old games by looking them up on the internet

I would choose to watch us in blue, whatever the level, as long as we're in the English pyramid system (at least I'm honest). I would rather watch us struggle for the next 20 years in blue than see us succeed in red for the rest of my life.

With the financial benefits it brings not only to Cardiff City Football Club but also Cardiff as in the city, I feel I can only pick Premier League. However, I do feel that playing in our new tacky kit does put a bitter taste in my mouth. If it was a smart/classic red kit then I would probably be contempt.

the prem simple reason being the money it brings and to sort the club debts out and build for future, its easy to say rather see us struggle lower leagues in blue but IF the club went bust and out of business people will moan and sulk and thinking wtf have we done drove away stability and success just to watch a football team play in a different colour, I will add I wish the blue was the home shirt but stability and the future comes first

Championship in blue.

Aside from the obvious top 8 the rest of the premiership are just glorified championship clubs anyway
