OFFICIAL BLUEBIRDS UNITE STATEMENT

I do not use forums but after today’s release of that diabolical kit I wanted to release a statement on behalf of BLUEBIRDS UNITE to your members:

BLUEBIRDS UNITE is a group for people who wish to fight for our clubs HISTORY, IDENTITY & PRIDE.
We want to play in the Premiership or any league for that matter as CARDIFF CITY BLUEBIRDS WEARING OUR TRADITIONAL BLUE COLOUR IN OUR OWN HOME THE CCS.

We are grateful to VT for helping us achieve Premiership status, but we implore him to understand what OUR club means to us.

We want to see Cardiff City (Bluebirds - playing in blue) in the Premiership NOT the Premiership in Cardiff City!!!!

The ‘Against modern football’ banner, is a banner that some of our members had made because they do not agree that foreign owners should be able to come in and dictate to fans what happens at their club. There should be compromise, US, the fans should be consulted, the community involved.

That being said the group is not called 'BLUEBIRDS AGAINST MODERN FOOTBALL' but 'BLUEBIRDS UNITE' – To us, this means all Bluebirds United, to fight for our club namely its 100+ years history that came before VT had ever heard of Cardiff.

We started as a local team and have risen through the ranks, the identity that took us that far deserves to be honoured and maintained.

Pride, Tradition, History – Identity
I do not wish to enter into a debate over this but wanted to set in writing what OUR GROUP is all about.
ANYBODY who does not like the way the re-brand is going please join us.
