Attractive, attacking football at home

Not attractive( dig out results) , counter attacking football away?

Tactic A. Win ugly

Tactic B. must shut up shop at earliest opportunity.

Tactic C. Whitts not to break the Hudson 5 yard perimeter.

Tactic D E and F. Plenty of fist pumps to keep the fans happy.

You forgot Malky's favourite tactic, boot it aimlessly down the middle to the small guy up front who watches the ball sail over his head.

Since Malky's been in charge, I can only recall conceding two or three goals from corners in two seasons, which isn't bad. Correct me if i'm wrong

Only one I can specifically remember was Watford home in 2011/12. Or was that a free kick? We don't seem to concede many from set pieces

It's simple really

score more goals than the other team

win

Burnley away was dealing from a long throw or a corner but not directly. Otherwise I think Charlton away this season is all I can think of currently. We seem to be quite solid at both ends of the pitch when it comes to set pieces. Lets hope it stays that way :ayatollah:

Why would Malky listen to a 15 year old? :?

This is something that has been at Cardiff well before Malky's arrival. We used to score a few deep freekicks with Roger Johnson getting forward - but even back then we scored only one or two corners a season!

I did some stat analysis a while back and the average in the Prem was one goal per 10 games from corner kicks a while back - higher still for some teams like Stoke etc.

other stat analysis on corners in Premier League = http://www.soccerbythenumbers.com/2011/ ... lmost.html

So perhaps we aren't too far behind the average. But I'm confident that city don't practice corners enough and that's always been the case

While I ramble on - just realised the original post said 'concede'... christ, time for another coffee
