are we not living in the 21st centuary? where for long term success in almost anything you have to actively welcome and adapt to change and take whatever you must take on board.
or are we people of bitter sentiment over a blue shirt? are we not still cardiff city - of the premier league
or would we rather be cardiff city the bluebird minnows, because hate it or love it we would of been on par with both wrexham and newport county without investment and would of had to watch swansea in the premiership.
I for one could not live with that... for the sake of my blue shirt, Dont get me wrong I'm against modern football and the damage money has and will continually do to the game.
Also we pride ourselves on wanting to be wales number one side ,majority of us support wales, and are happy to watch them in red and the red gdragon has long been a symbolic feature of national pride...
and we claim to be the most passionate of welsh fans, yet we wont back our own team when wearing the national coulors?
For me red in actual fact makes alot more sense as to where we are heading! we want to be competing in europe and I expect to see that within the next decade clubs around the world will recognise us for having the dragon, flying the flag into europe for our country,
people will realise we are one of only 2 welsh clubs potentially in europe,
and they will take not and say thats cardiff city a club from wales in the premier league, the ones that wear the red wales look alike kit.
this will also be an attraction to potential investers because they will see our fan base grow over the next few seasons and with the whole of wales neutral fans watching premier league when we overtake swansea this club is going to take off...
owe can be the bluebird minnows of the lower leagues, for the rest of our lives,
or we can grow into a sussessful new era and move with the times..
