Yet Tan has stripped our Identity from us, to me that means an awful lot and Tan has never given a proper reason other than Red is Lucky,happy and the way forward and those were his exact words to me only a month ago.
So No I will never give Tan Respect for that, in my opinion end off. Nothing will change my mind 100 trophies would not and that's my feelings,belief,opinion.

It might not bother you lot and that's your choice.
I will support my team if they won or lost every game and were relegated through every division, I hope everyone else will as well. 9 years in the 4th Division I never missed a game home or away.

I have total Respect for Tan in the Business world.


Also I don't understand why our fans could not have have stayed Blue and done that type of Protest, that would not have hurt our club one bit, in fact probrambly earned more Respect from our players and around the world.


To me CARDIFF CITY wiill always be BLUE and The BLUEBIRDS.

Was having a word with my mate about this I said to him the only reason he has picked red is that Man Utd , Liverpool and Arsenal wear red ,I said if they all wore blue then he wouldn't of changed us.
As you say he could of been a hero here but , hes lost my respect for what hes done to our club stripping our club of our identity. Yes I wanted Premiership football(I'm not going to lie and say I'm not happy we are there) but I would of rathered we did it without this pointless rebrand and we went up in our rightful colours.
If he changed us back to blue I would respect him

And changed our colours, totally disregarding over 100 years of history. Don't forget that one

VT could have gone down in our history as the best owner ever, pity we did,nt react the same wqay as the 20,000 Evertonians who have registard their feelings against their new slightly altered badge,

As I've said before the rebranding has definitely taken the shine off getting promoted.

Yeah you know what,i've been thinking about a particular interview Malky gave regarding Tan and how he had almost no knowledge of the game.He said that he could'nt understand how in the Championship teams at the bottom could often beat teams at the top,and how teams with bigger budgets were not necessarily better than teams with smaller budgets.He then said that he spent time with him and hi's knowledge of the game had improved no end.So my question is how could Tan, with that amount of football knowledge ever be expected to know anything about football club tradition.

I don't like the red.

Our identity has not been stripped either, we have been given a new one.
We are now seen as a premiership side, in a new stadium with a massive financial backer.
We have been winning awards as a family club and it just so happens we now play in red.
I have not warmed to the idea of playing in red, but it has got easier.
I used to feel we would get our blue back, but I don't anymore.
Still, we are Cardiff City FC, and as long as it say's that on the tin (no matter what colour) that will do for me.

And takes away our true identity and turns us into a laughing stock.

History will always be there, identity is the fan base and the name Cardiff City.

And not a sell out, just a realist in todays football world.

I see both sides of the argument and agree with both sides in a way, Thats why I just put it to the back of my mind and enjoy the football.
