Starting Eleven from Bottom Eleven

Tue May 28, 2013 12:47 pm

Another just for fun thread.

Seen as we're in transfer silly season, how about putting together a team from the teams finishing 10-20 in Premier League (top 1-8 completely unrealistic and no Swansea player would come obv.) last season but with only one player from each side that you would like to see down CCFC.

Teams: West Ham, Norwich, Fulham, Stoke, Southampton, Villa, Newcastle, Sunderland, Wigan, Reading, QPR

I'll start

GK - Begovic (Stoke)
DF: Collins (West Ham), Hangelaand (Fulham), Coloccini (Newcastle), Rose (Sunderland)
MF: McCarthy (Wigan), Lallana (Soton), Robson-Kanu (Reading), Pilkington (Norwich)
ST: Benteke (Villa), Remy (QPR)

Obviously Rose is technically Spurs now but this is just for fun and based on last season!

Any of those we could seriously sign? I think the relegated clubs players are a chance but Robson-Kanu is the only one we probably wouldn't have too much competition for!

He's a good player but I didn't think he had a particularly inspiring first season in the Premier League.
