Any Petrol heads on here?

Mon May 27, 2013 4:51 pm

Always fancied a Focus ST, so ive bitten the bullet and just ordered a new Focus ST-2 estate, the sporty car I was after but with the practicality of being an estate.

Anyone else got one of these?

You'll love it. Will definitely fill your sporty requirements. Great little engine in the ST.

Perhaps we could discuss car ownership histories 'top gear style'

See who's is the most tragic

Looks great. I do like the idea of a fast estate, but I think it would have to have 8+ cylinders!

FIrst car was Cortina Mk2 1600E - shed when I had it but lots of fun.
Went through the obligatory Escort, Cavalier, Laguna, Passat estate, Saab 9000 Aero.
Latest is XF Sport 3 litre twin turbo. Best car I've owned by several million miles!

I've got the mustang gt5ltr v8, which the mrs has basically shotgunned as hers and also have the jeep wrangler rubicon.

Both cracking cars, love them, about as economic as just putting the petrol straight onto the forecourt floor though. Thank god for having access to reduced fuel price of about 70p a litre,

Think they both end up doing about 18mpg.
