Bafetimbi Gomis has told OL TV he will be at the club next season to fight in the Champions League. #OL

I watched the Lyon game online last night hoping to get a look at Gomis but he didn't start.
He did come on as a sub with 10 minutes to go but by then Lyon were 2-0 up with a Champions League place in the bag and the remainder of the game was like a pre season friendly.
Does beg the question that if he is a "Big" player at Lyon why didn't he start a game where the club was looking to secure a CL place.
Looks like he is surplus to requirements at Lyon in my opinion.
