A forum for all things Cardiff City

If we fail to stay up then just maybe are fans will unite in getting the true colours of Cardiff City back.
I would sacrifice the prem to get are identity back given the choice and some would agree with me .
The problem is lots would disagree with me and would be happy to carry on in red.
How much do you care about your clubs identity which one would you choose if you had a choice and why .
For me its about belonging and I belonged to this club wholehearted the moment Tan took away the colours etc and rebranded us I felt I didnt belong here as much as before.

Tan offered 2 routes.
A) Take the £100m and ill continue investing and you'll play in red
B) Keep your identity and I'll find you a new owner in your best interests, or words to that effect
The majority took A. They wanted the Premier League dream. They wanted the new facilities, training ground and debt wiped. They wanted new quality players and to see the Hazard's and Van Persie's of the Premier League. Tan, with his Cardiff City project, is meeting those deliverables. He's not met them all yet but he's carrying through with what he said.
However, now the Premier League has been reached and the deliverables the fans really wanted have been ticked off, they suddenly want some aspects of B as well. They've got the parts of the A route they want and now they want the parts of the B route they want, the identity back.
Sorry but for me that was not in the conditions of Tans offer. The majority took A and I will see it out and support Tan for as long as he sticks to his word now. You cant have everything in life.

..and if we had more fans like you and not idiots on Twitter threatening people trying to make an effort we would have had a proper fight against the rebrand last year. Instead the fight from some of our fans was surpressed by fans who wanted the Premier League dream. Ironically, some of those fans turned up to today's protest Against Modern Football. Now we're in the Premier League they've changed their tune and want the clubs identity back but its all too late.
Chuckles did try and he has had to deal with a lot of shit on Twitter over the months fighting a lost cause.

Don't get so het up about it, there was never any options.
Tan is the owner, he does what he wants ! - He did........
The only option available was if you were so disturbed by the change the club would refund your season tickets, only a few did. Not really an option or a vote of approval.
Tan has made a mistake he can easily reverse, it may prove to be costly for him if he doesn't. Promotion papered over some serious cracks, only mid table safety will continue the veneer. 8~12 points and bottom at christmas will take the premier gloss away, no early early bird season ticket sell outs for the following season, mass chorus of blue back songs going worldwide during the Man u, Chelsea, and Arsenal games.....
Go on VT change your mind and be the hero.......
