Either the Xbox One or the PS4. Both are coming out towards the end of the year. Both will be great entertainment systems.

I'll probably get an Xbox One as its cheaper, the controls are better for FPS (first person shooters) and I believe Xbox Live is a much better service.

Its all down to opinion though and ignore the idiots who are fanboys and just choose any console without looking into it.

If you're not up for next generation then go with the current PS3 as it has better exclusives. Buy it after the release of the new consoles to save loads of money. Now is probably the worst time to get a console. I was going to get another Xbox 360, sold it before uni for money, but im holding off and getting an Xbox One.

Once the next generation consoles come out you should be able to get a PS3 pretty cheap and then you'll have a massive library of cheap games to play. It'll still look like a massive upgrade if you've only really been into PS2 before.

What's your budget mate?

Been Xbox.... But the PS4 will have to truly suck cheesy balls for me to be purchasing the Xbox one..
I am converting to Sony.... Probably

As to the OP....just hold off til the new shit hits the shelves!!!
