Wouldn't be he biggest surprise as Malky's been an admirer of him for some time.Would be an good addition IMO.

If true, 3mil is excessive for a player QPR are actively trying to get rid of, that said he would be a quality signing.

I'm sure he would play on the right of a front three as opposed to the central role, and as hard working as he is, he's not just that type of players as alot of people seem to think, he's got real quality too.

Really hope this is true, but as always with rumours on message boards, I have my doubts.

Disagree with you there sorry, he isn't deployed as a striker. More of a winger who fits Malkys philosophy of working hard off the ball. One of the few players in my opinion who can hold his head high in a team that disappointed this season

If hes used as a striker then I would agree with Jackf as a fit Campbell and Maynard are better than Mackie imo

I wouldn't sign him personally as he is no better than what we have and we need better players than what we have to push our current squad , if we were still in the championship then I would sign him in a heartbeat

There have been many links to this player within the last 12 months and I don't see it a step in a forward direction. He could not hold a starting place in a poor QPR team and I would not classify him as a 'quality premiership player".

Hope this is not true, if we are makin these types of signings then its obviously building a squad to come back up when we are relegated

Stop underrating him. He hasn't made many appearances for QPR because of the stubborn managers who spent millions on "better" players. I believe that he will help the squad progress with his consistency and tricky style of play. So give him a chance.

Well 2 goals out of 17 starts dont impress me sorry, we already have as good as that in our 2 strikers now. If hes not better then what we have , then why spend 3mil on him ?

He's also got that bit I quality and cutting edge that could make the difference. Don't be so quick to judge. Malky likes the player and has been sniffing around for a while, so he must have something
