"Police are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a mosque in Milton Keynes.

There were people inside the Granby Mosque at the time of the incident on Thursday night.

Eyewitnesses said they were able to put the fire out before it took hold.

Fazilat Shivji, from the Zainabia Islamic Centre, said the incident could have been much worse."

It will be a shame that violence is going to be the thing that pushes our government to act on preachers of hate and radicals. It's taken a potential uprising and a beheaded British soldier for them to even start thinking about getting their act together.

on the day of the attack, driving home i heard on the radio that people in the area of the attack should 'refrain from wearing help for heroes attire'. sorry, but this is the UK and we should be proud of, and not be afraid of, supporting our troops in our own country.
