Such as Gomis.
Don't they realise that bottom of the leagueband destined to be relegated QPR signed a better player than Gomis when they signed Remy. So lets say we are now the 18th best team in the division before a ball is kicked, that makes us the same level as QPR were when they signed Remy, so it is all very possible. He could do it as a stepping stone play a year and move on to a Liverpool or similar level but he won't be going to a team in the top 6 they will be after a lot better trust me, the stakes are high.If Gomis was 5 years younger I'd believe all the paper talk of him going to spurs/arsenal but I believe that was paper talk and our interest is genuine and I believe we have a very good chance of signing him, teams like us and villa/sunderland will be after him and not your top 6

QPR were able to offer Remy £80k per week. I don't think we are quite in that bracket of wealth. I still don't think Gomis is a laughable target though. It would be a risky one taking up so much of our budget but I think we're quite an attractive proposition for players now, particularly squad players at European clubs who want a chance to make it in the Premier League.

I understand your sentiments. Unfortunately there are still many'flat-earthers'when it comes to Cardiff City. We're one of, if not the most progressive club in British football, but the anti-Cardiff brigade(the majority of our former fans)and the born pessimists would rather believe we'll be back in the championship soon, rather then becoming an established force
I know what my money is on

I firmly believe we will keep on progressing, there's a tough year ahead but I'm optimistic that we will make the right signings.
Anyone who thinks the football we played this year will e exactly how we play this coming season needs to realise we only played like that to get us into the prem I'm fed up of reading how malkys tactics will see us back in the championship next year its as if they can't see that we have a f*cking top manager who has helped us move on ten fold all across the club..
Lost my point typing away there..off to finish off watching banshee anyone who ain't seen it is highly recommend giving it a watch.
