Bits of business in modern times.
I can think of a few bits of excellent business we've done ;
Mark Delaney free sold for about 300 k
Cameron Jerome free sold for approx £3m
Chopra bought for 500 k and sold for £5m
There's other obvious ones like Loovens,Johnson, Rambo & Earnie first time
and my favourite that still has me shaking my head and smiling, Steve Maclean free and SOLD for £500k
I know these players going in the opposite direction are quite recent but still can't get my head around Ledley, Mathews, Burke & Bothroyd's leaving for free and McCormack leaving for bladders! Shit management
Anybody think of any other obvious ones in or out?
Think we probably had decent deals on one or both Bennets, still can't be convinced 110 k for Toshack was a good deal.
