Always a pleasure. Group stages will be the target and probably achievable depending on opposition/seedings (if that happens?). Don't pay much attention to euro competition in terms of early stages.

Yes I was totally proved wrong and I admit it, fair play you did more than good.

Yes I was totally proved wrong and I admit it, fair play you did more than good.

Well the point is, just to think before you go back to just predicting us to fail without any real proper basis for it, only to be proved wrong again just because you want us to fail. Rather than just a hunch that we'll fall below expectations that you're going to get every season regardless of the quality of our squad or the circumstances that our club is in. When you do this, it doesn't particularly surprise me or worry me about this actually happening to the club, as I know it's going to come anyway and it's not presented with any sort of basis. I've showed how teams have done when in Europe on a previous post, and only one team has gone down since the start of the Premier League - Ipswich Town, whilst the others have used that platform to improve the size of the club and to bring in better players than they'd have been able to do had they not been in Europe.

We did more than good last season, and we'll have a stronger squad next season. We're not going to turn from a top half team to a side going down, based on an extra say 8-10 games this season, just like we weren't going to turn from the 11th best team in the league to a relegation struggling team on an extra 4-6 games last season and just like not playing in the 2nd round of the League Cup is going to affect our points tally for next season.

Just see who we sign next season due to European football, we seem to have a good chance of getting either Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Romelu Lukaku as well as a striker of the quality of Iago Aspas or Arouna Kone and we've already signed a player of the quality of Jose Canas.

League Cup? League Cup Fricking Mickey Mouse Cup.....................OPPS! sorry,its a fantastic Cup to win ,a Major Trophy etc FFS make you mind up!
