Adel Taarabt anyone?

Thu May 23, 2013 3:15 pm

I know he is probably way off from passing malkys player dossiers but with the Malaysian link of qpr and us , it could be a realistic transfer or loan.
Would definately add another dimension and quality to our team he is creative and can chip in with goals too.
But isit possible malky could put an arm around him and give him a bit of discipline for his own good and bring out the best in him? Maybe a loan would be worth a crack

Apparently he's getting fined for not allowing QPR to weigh him for the last few weeks, surely that means he knows he's overweight!

I think he's a cracking player to watch, esp when he puts a shift in. I would love him here, but don't think we can carry him for the times we are in a fight of a game. He's a luxury player in a team battling to stay up, and I don't think it would work out in the end.

Plus I can see him only around the London area or Clubs back in the continent.

I would take him on loan definately

No he will just cause trouble

I think he'll end up going to PSG or somewhere like that. I think he was linked with them last year

QPR only stand to benefit from selling taarabt if the fee is around 20 mill due to clauses in his contract that give a certain percentage to his ex clubs
I honestly think theyll keep him as hes still under contract.Even an under performing taarabt is way too good for the championship

No thanks. Inconsistent player who failed to secure a move to PSG due to his insane wage demands.

We don't need that sort of player in our no-nonsense, hard working squad.

No thanks. The words 'he does what he wants' come to mind'. He does not always give 100% and would not fit Malky's profile. Although he has undoubted talent he is one of those players who will annoy and infuriate and will probably underachieve in a big way.

Nah your orite

Not a Malky type player at all. Poor attitude and I should imagine would want a large wage.

No thanks!

Good player but a knob. Could easily be a top 4 team regular otherwise.

Too inconsistent IMO. He would drag the team down.

Malky only likes robots.

Some good points, could disrupt the squad if he was f*cking about and then getting picked to play.
Maybe an outside chance malky could make him see sense and he will buck his ideas up.
Probably not gonna happen and too much of a gamble

He is a big cry baby,I remember he demanded to be subbed in one game because the other team were nasty to him

Great player with ability most players in the Prem haven't got, sadly the commitment and effort doesn't match and support it.

You wouldn't want a Muslim in our changing rooms? So we wouldn't welcome Ribera, or RVP just as two examples??? Mindless idiot.

No thanks. An overated luxury player.

The myth he should be playing for a top 4 team if he had the effort and commitment is just laughable.

His flicks and tricks just dont work at this level because he is not good enough. Plenty of players with flicks and tricks who play at the very top level.

^THIS^

Plus if things were not going his way and he had his little temper tamps, I think the fans would soon be on his back

RVP isnt a muslim. His wife is.

Taarabt reminds me of Jason Koumas. Has enough brilliance to get away with a poor work ethic and star in the Championship, but gets totally found out in the Premier League. Their careers might happen to follow similar directions going forward, too.

read on here that someone had him as a muslim, well nevermind. ribery is most definite a muslim though, and we would welcome that muslim in open arms.

Religion shouldnt matter when it comes to things like sport. If we are going to stop Muslims shall we ban catholics aswell?

Queens Park Rangers playmaker Adel Taarabt could be on his way out of Loftus Road - with United Arab Emirates side Al Ain plotting a move.

Harry Redknapp is set for a major overhaul at QPR this summer following their relegation from the Premier League.

Taarabt has been linked with a move away from the club numerous times before but this time, it could happen.

Mega-rich Al Ain, fresh from clinching the title last month, want to boost their squad and are keen to bring Taarabt to the Gulf and team him up with former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan.

QPR are open to offers for all their players and face the prospect of losing their Moroccan star, as the UAE side prepare an £8million move.

* REBUILDING Rangers want to sign Spurs' England Under-21 defender Adam Smith ahead of life in the Championship next season, writes Darren Witcoop.

Hoops boss Harry Redknapp is chasing full-back Smith on a season's loan as a replacement for misfit Jose Bosingwa.

Smith, who will wear the Three Lions at this summer's U-21 European Championship, has seen his path blocked by Kyle Walker at the WHite Hart Lane side.

Redknapp is looking for players with experience of English football's second tier, and the 22-year-old fits the bill after catching the eye in loan stints with Leeds and Millwall.

Rangers also plan to offer ex-Portsmouth defender Tal Ben-Haim a one-year deal.

The Israeli international, who is on loan at MLS side Toronto until next month, played for Redknapp at Pompey and is wanted back at Loftus Road.

Redknapp said: "I know Tal well and I like him. He is the right type of player for us."
