I more than anyone want malky to stay with us but if he was to take everton job I wouldnt blame him. I dont think it will spell disaster theres good managers out of work two that spring to mind are di matteo and benitez both who won champions league. Wondered what u thought keep malky or one of the otherz or other suggestions.

As long as he brings Crouch with him.

(And Miss Clancy)

In fact leave Crouch. Just kidnap Abby.

This man please.. Rene Girard, won the Ligue One title with Montpellier, leaving them for free I think, even said he'd drop into the Championship.

If Malky goes he would be a hell of a shout. Let's face it, with the money PSG spent last season, little Montpellier winning the title was incredible. Montpellier can be compared to a similar size club to Swansea. Montpellier winning the title last season can be compared with Swansea winning the Premiership, an impossible task! Montpellier have still finished 9th this season despite selling all their best players too. The only problem would be if he can speak English fluent, but Southampton have improved since changing their manager, so that would only be a small issue in my opinion.

Not bothered if he stays or goes tbh. Top bloke but football is crap to watch.

Exactly, PSG won it this year but they spent a shit load of money, Montpellier's only a small team and he's coached players like Giroud etc as well, will probably buy from the French leagues and that but he seems a decent enough manager. Would love it to happen if Malky does go, the thing is I hope he applies for the job instead of us approaching him, I feel as there's no football man at the helm that it will go to senior players of staff on their thoughts on a new manager. Rene Girard seems a really good choice if Malky does go, someone who can take us to the next level if he stabilitises us :ayatollah:

""I know it won't be easy," Girard told the BBC's World Football programme.
"There are lots of good coaches and lots of people in the market for coaching roles but hopefully I can find a club. It's always been a dream to work in English football.""

""Maybe there are also some big clubs in the Championship who have ambitions to get back into the Premier League, that could be interesting for me," he said.
"I've started English lessons on the internet. Having a good grasp of the language to relate to players is indispensable."
