FAO Carl (not city related)

I know you are a fellow MJ fan. Have you heard of Cirque du Soleil? If not they are a kind of performance / circus production team and they are known for putting on some of the best shows of their kind. They have usually have more than one show running in Vegas at any given time.

Anyway I saw one of their shows in London a while back and will go to everyone I can get to since. The second one I saw was their MJ Immortal show in Manchester, which was part of a world tour. I believe they used a lot of the dance crew from the This Is It show, and they used some / part of the routines too (I think). Anyway,the show was amazing as expected, my favourite bit being the four MJ dancers at half time mixing with the crowd and grabbing their crotches at the Chinese candy floss sellers! ha

They now have another MJ show called 'one' which is only on in Vegas at the moment. I'm sure it will do a world tour at some point down the line, so if you're not in Vegas any time soon it's defo one to look out for. If you've seen the theatre show in London and liked that, this on a whole different level of levels!

Hi mate I am aware of Cirque du Soleil, I went to see Immortal at the O2 last year and really enjoyed the show, I had hoped that Cirque du Soleil would have collaborated with Michael before he passed as the energy of MJ and the Cirque team are a perfect team.

The Michael Jackson 'One' show looks fantastic and opens on Thursday at Mandalay Bay in Vegas, the show is more about the music of MJ than Immortal was and when they tour it worldwide I will certainly go and see it.

I listen to the Immortal cd whilst driving and the megamix which includes a great remix of Billie Jean is outstanding and the young MJ singing I'll Be There to just a piano is stunning.

Glad you got to see it and enjoyed! And yeah if they'd had the chance to do anything together it would have been insane. I have no desire to go to Vegas but if I was rich I'd travel for the show! Cirque do have a new show in London in July I'll be reaching that.
