That's why there's no real excuse for Wenger.
Same with Moyes really. Yeah he's done a good job but he's never won a trophy with affectively the 6th best team in the league. Managers like Laudrup, Dalgliesh, Alex McLeish, Roberto Martinez and Harry Redknapp have all won one in the past 5 years.
