With the squad we have now, we're looking at a long struggle. Yes you must give the players that got us up a chance, but in reality there are only a handful that can play and will be able to play at this level. The rest will become dead money.

I agree there. Ricky Van Wolfswinkle has gone to Norwich so why can't we sign the likes of Kalou and Gomis. You have to remember that we aren't just an ordinary club. To players, we are an up and coming, ambitious club that has money. I think the first "big" signing will cause a domino affect

Why do people always do this in football? And it always seems to be mainly in football, they pluralize teams and players! So often you hear the sentence "The Man Utds and Liverpools of this world, or the Rooneys and Beckhams of this world. There is only 1 Man Utd, only 1 Liverpool, only 1 Rooney, only 1 Beckham! It drives me nuts every single time!!

Miccoli has a combined total of 16 goals and assists, 2 less than Jovetic and hes ment to be off to Arsenal. Also he has a few caps for Italy. Also Ilicic has 10 goals from midfield. Both players together have scored over half of Palermo's goals this season. Realistic signings?

Get a grip, it means players like those pair! It's exactly the same when people talk about the Man Uniteds and Liverpools of this world. If you want to start picking up on grammar and punctuation should you really begin a sentence with a connective.

Miccoli may be off somewhere else but Ilicic is a very good player and i've seen him play a fair few times. I forgot Palermo were relegated and would love to see Ilicic come here. Maybe he could help Velikonja out too, both being Slovenian and that...?
