£25 Million Budget, I bet it's more...........

Mon May 20, 2013 4:03 pm

That just a figure mentioned to keep the prices down, we can't say we are going to spend what it takes, but I reckon we will. I think Malky will pick the list and if we get the top targets on his list will smash through the £25 Million barrier, and I don't mean in QPR wasteful fashion but a sensible planned approach.

If Tan met Tony Fernandes to chat on strategies gong forward, I am sure he will have realised the need for a good start and to get it right in the summer. If we don't plan well and have to spend in January the costs are twice as high and it's usually too late.

What do you think, how much will we spend this summer in your opinion???

Last year as part of his investment deal he revealed how much he would give Malky and the max we could have spent on transfers was £10m. We spent almost exactly that much on a net spend basis so I have no reason to doubt that £25m is what he intends to spend this season.

If they can get the players they want by not spending 25 million then they will. This will include signing on fees etc. If we get 4-5 players with three of them out of contract Ill be delighted.

I dont want to add transfer fees druing the summer and after adding up feeling disappointed if we haven't actually spent 25m on transfer fees.
