Cal Crutchlow (Moto GP) and Scott Redding

Sun May 19, 2013 5:30 pm

I know it's 'off topic' but I also know that many on here are big motorcycle fans...

What a day for British Motorcycling! :ayatollah:

Cal Crutchlow gets an amazing 2nd place on the podium at the Le Mans Moto GP WITH A BROKEN LEG!

Cal is the first Brit for over 20 years to get a 2nd place in motorcycling's Premier League. Superb!

Then, Scott Redding wins a rain-affected Moto GP 2 race to show his undoubted talent

With these two plus Bradley Smith in the Moto GP Paddock AND OUR OWN (WELSHMAN) CHAZ DAVIES doing well in World Superbikes, the future looks good for British motorcycle sport

Well done Cal, well done Scott. I salute you!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I'll be there too, mate. Have a friend who works for IRTA, so weekend paddock tickets I'm pleased to say ;)

Not sure about Chaz' football allegiances but I will try to find out. My brother used to be pretty warm on the circuit and knows a lot of the riders (young and old) including some ex Moto GP and WSB guys. Along with my old man, he was a big friend of the late Malcolm Uphill (who the Wetherspoon's pub in Caerphilly is named after) :ayatollah:
