Tickets through turnstiles should be counted instead.

Your club decided against taking more than 50% of the allocation in some games because they would have had to pay for the 2nd 50% in full whether they sold them or not had they done so and they obviously didn't think it was financially viable to do so as the demand was not there.

Correct. That's not to say we wouldn't have sold many more of those tickets of course but just that it was deemed not financially viable to take the risk of an extra 1,500 tickets at sometimes £50 a pop.
Seems perfectly sensible to me.

Make sure you've had all your jabs too. Might be an idea to also book an exorcist just to be sure.

Very sensible, I was highlighting to those who may not have understood what you meant in your post that your club decided against taking the full allocation.
In your first season your club sold an away season ticket, how much was it and how many did you sell?
Also did you sell an away season ticket in the second season also?
And if anyone attended all 19 away games, was the initial price paid enough to cover every game or was more money required and for those who bought an away season ticket, if they didn't go to all the away games did they receive money back at he end of the season?

The away season ticket was in the region of £900 paid for in (I think) 3 instalments, and yes it was sold in the second season as well although I've no idea how many we sold for either season.
The price was, I believe, based on the highest priced ticket for each away game therefore at the end of the season if the highest priced ticket had not been charged to the club (which it hadn't), all those who took up the away ST deal received a refund of the appropriate amount.
If you didn't attend an away game then you did not get your money back for any game attended. Much like a home season ticket.

Cheers, I wondered how it worked.
I thought it was £900 for the first season also but was unsure if it was done in the second season, I just found this on the web :
Season 2012-13
SWANSEA CITY AWAY SEASON TICKET SCHEME
The scheme will have a maximum of 500 supporters in total.
The away season ticket will cost £700 (adult), £500 (senior citizen) and £350 (Under 16's). The cost will be taken over two payments throughout the season (dates to be advised).
The cost will include a £25 administration charge. If the payment is made by credit card, there will be an additional 2% charge (this does not apply to debit cards). This is in line with current card policy at the Liberty Stadium.
All tickets will be sent out automatically, approximately 21 days prior to the match (subject to the tickets arriving from the away club).
Please note that in the event of the away club providing different prices for different age categories, we will only charge the full adult, junior and senior rate for the scheme.

Secondly, I was thinking that you'd be more concerned about how you compared with us on the pitch rather than in terms of away followin.
